How recession changed our way to shop

Post on 16 September 2010, by Stephanie in Shop Smart, What's new

Basics are always a must and we all have a bunch of pieces lying around in our closet. But with the recession and everyone watching what and how they spend money, we need to be careful on how we shop and what we buy if we want to be able to follow all the trends! So instead of buying a bunch of simple shirts that all look the same, focus on one eye-catching piece that will make your outfit stand out.

Stores like Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue are on the lookout for those wow pieces that will amaze customers.
It’s not about the quantity; it’s all about the quality. You’ll be better off spending the same amount of money for a couple of basics on one unique piece that you will love.

Like fashionmag states, even simple shirts are being redesigned with more details. For example a pocket on a basic t-shirt that you can get with all different colors or shapes.
